Physical therapy evaluations and treatments are for patients who have conditions such as pelvic pain, bladder leakage, constipation and prolapse, pain in pregnancy, endometriosis, pelvic congestion syndrome, pre or post genitourinary surgeries, diastasis recti or following abdominoplasty and post cesarean. These sessions can also be used while pregnant to prepare for labor and delivery or post partum to return to prior activities safely.

Dr. Meghan Haus has been a physical therapist for 15 years. After graduating from Nazareth University in 2010 she first worked in a hospital setting then moved on to outpatient orthopedics for the next 11 years before venturing into perinatal care and pelvic floor therapy.

Meghan developed an interest in pelvic floor physical therapy while pregnant with her first child. She realized the void of knowledge she herself had about exercise safety, diastases, prolapse and pelvic floor symptoms. She began her continuing education in the field by becoming a post partum corrective exercise specialist (PCES) and then completed pelvic floor education from the Herman and Wallace Institute. Due to her desire to best serve pregnant patients Meghan has also taken obstetric coursework through the APTA Pelvic Health Section.

Meghan is passionate about treating patients with a variety of pelvic floor conditions as well as those who are pregnant and experiencing pain or who simply want to optimize their labor, delivery and postpartum experience. Her favorite part of treating is educating patients and empowering them to manage their own symptoms.

Outside of work Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She tries to carve time out of the week to work out, explore buffalo with her family and spend time with friends. Meghan is a former collegiate swimmer and hopes to someday, finally, join a masters swim team!
